There are a lot of complaints in this article with the actor's union, and I have to think that producers are rubbing their hands together behind the scenes, pleased with the fact that the union is being weakened and distracted by these internal conflicts. All the money and time being spent on improving inclusion and diversity mean they're not being spent on wages, benefits, and working conditions."
Wages, benefits and working conditions are a part of inclusion and diversity.

No, they're really not. Inclusion and diversity can be successfully decoupled from wages, benefits and working conditions. Capitalism loves to pull cute little tricks like that, especially American capitalism. But it's not a question of either/or. They need to all be fought for... as long as it's not left solely to POC to fight for wages, benefits and working conditions for all of us while they're also fighting just to get their foot in the door.
