...What happened next, was stranger still, a woman breathless and afraid, appeared out of the night, completely dressed in white. She had a secret she would tell, of one who had mistreated her. Her face and frightened gaze, my mind cannot erase...But then she ran from view. She looked so much like you...

I go through phases, mostly dictated by the show I last saw. Right now I have a healthy obsession with Jersey Boys. I saw it a about a month and a half ago and its still going strong, and most likely will be fueled again when I see the show next week.

Past obsessiosn have included Rent and Wicked (which I will alway carry a torch for), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Cabaret and Taboo.

Oh YES! Right now I'm obsessed with Rent & the Wicked obsession has gone for more about 2 years I think.

Prior to that I was obsessed with Annie Get Your Gun, Kiss Me Kate, Phantom, Les Mis, Jekyll & Hyde, you name it!

I'm always obsessed with Linda Eder's "Broadway My Way" CD :)

You know I never got the obsession w/ Millie. It was an OK show for me. Although I thought Dixie Carter was wonderful! :)

I think I missed Harriet by a few weeks. I actually wanted to see Delta Burke, but missed her and got Dixie. She was pretty funny! It was a good cast: Susan Egan, Leslie Uggams, Dixie, etc, but the show didn't wow me!

I will obsess over Sondheim shows for months. Right now, the current revival of Sweeney Todd and the revival of Assasins are keeping me very busy!

Haha.
Mine are...
-points to avatar-
and, Wicked for, like a day, until I realized that it was a pretty weak score.
Rent, but because of the beautfiul way that it plays out, the score, and everything.
Q for a while, I loved seeing a musical that made fun of NYC life,
and some classics.
I loved 42nd street!
25APCSB, I met the cast, and I found myself falling in love with everything about it.

When I first saw it, I was crazy for "Crazy For You." I saw it when I was 4 and I was obsessed with it until I was about 12. Then it was Les Mis for a LONG time. Now, it;s DRS. Duh. lol. and that will be the way for a LONG time.

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.

I would have to say DRS right now, but I have been listening to Tick Tick Boom! a lot, because I just saw it at a local theatre.

I have been aware of musicals all my life, but I never really became obsessed with any of them untill Wicked. Yes I was one of those crazy fangirls going "oMg I LYKE TOtallY LOVE wiCkED It'S THE greATEst!" Then I realized how dumb I was acting, then one day I was searching Idina Menzel's fansite because I was still obsessed with Wicked and I saw she was going to be in a movie of Rent. I look at the rent movie site, read the plot, and totally forgot about Wicked. I became obsessed with rent and everything about it. Now I've gotten over it. I still like it, but I don't listen to the recording everyday. Now I'm obsessed with Aida and this summer I'm planning to expand my knowledge of musicals. If there are any musicals that I should definatly learn about PM me.

At eight, I was obsessed with ANNIE (huge surprise), and I was Method in my obsession: for a while there I got up at six am, put on a raggedy dress, 'scrubbed' the carpet in my bedroom, and fixed myself 'mush' (flour and water). I was an only child, what can I say. . .

After that, I obsessed over OLIVER!, DAMN YANKEES, COMPANY, and SWEENEY TODD -- URINETOWN being the most recent obsession. I tend to obsess more on actors -- not meaning that I'm a stalker, but just that I'll see everything they're in.

Q is my number one musical forever! I've seen it three times and I can't stop being obsessed with it.

Then again, I get obssessed with practically every musical I see, but for the moment, along with Q, Rent, JB, Spelling Bee, and DRS are at the top of my list (at least this month).

Just one question: Jerseyboyslover, how do you get emails from all those amazing performers?! are there really ways to contact them so easily?

I was running on a Spelling Bee kick for about 2 months, but my entire family (including me) got sick of hearing/talking about it.

When I was 9, I was totally obsessed with Annie.

Now, nothing haha.

Percy: Sink me! If it isn't Javvurt!
Javert: Zsah-vair, it's pronounced Zsah-vair.
Pecry: But it's spelled J-A-V-E-R-T Javvurt.
Javert: Repeat after me Zsah...Zsah....
Percy: Oh! Zsa-Zsa! Like the Gabor sister! Well I personally have always prefered Eva.
