Since it is a limited run with an all star cast, it should be able to weather what appears to be rotten rviews. It looks like it will be on TDF more frequently.

I saw it on TDF. It was really, really dated.
That the play is "dated" seems to be the critical consensus. Problem is, not one critic seems to have sufficiently explained why they found it dated. So in this case, "dated" is just another default word for critics to use in describing a failed production. Just as they use words like "riveting" or "stunning" or "revelatory" to describe productions that work.

its 40 yrs old nobody goes around 'saying makis, kikes and jigaboos' every five minutes. The attitudes of the characters are 40yrs old.
Its old news and even though I like the actors, I was wincing alot.
It was just old men sitting around talking about how amazing they use to be. It was boring, and uninspired, and honestly it just kept stating the same facts over and over again.
The characters in the play are racist. They are talking about the people who they see as threatening their way of life in exactly the way they would have talked about them.
I remember seeing the original production
I found it a competent but not exceptional drama. I guess the producers thought an all star cast would make it work. Looks like they were wrong. I had no desire to see it & now even less.

I was bored by the original production and hadn't planned on seeing this one. However, I good friend--who is not a regular theater-goer--is really excited about seeing this and so I'm afraid I'll be sitting through it again.

Anybody know if Kiefer signs/takes pictures after the show?

^^^^ He comes out on certain days. The first time I went he did not. Bt the second time he did. I guess it depends.

He was out last night - not sure if he was signing but he was taking pictures with people. While it's true this is a dated piece, I had fun. Sutherland is terrific in his part and I can just watch Chris Noth stand there and do nothing, although that is not what he did.
The play's "shocking secret" is not all that shocking anymore (and you can see it coming about 5 minutes in), nor is it worth the pearl clutching most of them display.
Finally saw this last night. And hated it. Boring, boring, boring, BORING.
It did NOT feel like two hours and fifteen minutes. I saw IHO a few weeks ago, which was nearly four hours long, and felt infinitely shorter than this mess of a play. The actors were all alright at best and I was just so uninterested and bored to tears. The most exciting part came when part of the set broke and almost hit Kiefer in the head and he ad-libbed, much to the audience's excitement. Other than that unscripted moment, I couldn't wait to get out of there.

Wickedrocks: I was here on Thursday too. While the piece is dated, I wasn't bored. I thought Kiefer was quick with that ad lib and the cast cracked up as well as the audience. I liked the eye candy :)
