Wanted to reach out here. Working on a project and I needed a Broadway song title or lyric about being starstruck or around celebrities? Would love some suggestions if you could offer them! Thanks.
One from a chorus line, she's a woman from kiss of the spider woman
I've written a few songs like that...
"The Wizard and I" could fit this criteria.
"Have an Eggroll, Mr. Goldstone" perhaps?
"Oscar Jaffee, Lily Garland" from On the 20th Century (at least the chorus's part).

"Easy Money" from THE LIFE
"Greatest Star Of All" (and lots of other stuff) from SUNSET BLVD
"I Wanna Be A Producer" from THE PRODUCERS
"Glamourous" (or something like that) from THE APPLE TREE

Thanks --- I was thinking of the line "...glamourous, movie star"!

"Hello Hazel" from HAZEL FLAGG. Someone needs to bring that show back!
Also "Love Can't Happen" from GRAND HOTEL. Ditto on bringing that one back.
Re THE APPLE TREE the song "Who Is She?" is much more about being starstruck IMO.
One could argue "Hello, Dolly!" is kindof about that, or "If They Could See Me Now."
"Honestly Sincere" from BYE BYE BIRDIE isn't in terms of text, but contextually thats the idea.
There's a song from FADE OUT - FADE IN that has a theme like that but I cannot remember it.
Zip from Pal Joey? - at least the first verse...
Press Conference from Dreamgirls
"Roxie" from Chicago...
"Not Since Chaplin" from Nine...

Check out "BTW Write Back," it's a song Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote for Andrea Burns and it's on her solo album A Deeper Shade of Red.
"I Can Hear The Bells" from Hairspray takes place when Tracy meets Link at her Corny Collins audition and fantasizes about their life together.
