Nice tastes.
"No More" from SWIWS - It makes me wish I was a chick so I could play the role or at least sing the song.
"Easy as Life" from Aida
"The Beauty Is" Piazza (though I prefer the Clarke version for some reason, I just love her the quality of her voice.)
"Are You There" BARE
I can't stop listening to "Fantasies Come True" from Avenue Q and "Dance: Ten, Looks: Three" from A Chorus Line
Patti LuPone singing "Being Alive" at the Sondheim celebration concert in 92. It's my favorite thing ever.
'Maybe This Time' by Ruthie Henshall
and don't know whether this counts, but Heather Headley singing 'Your Song' for Elton John on youtube .... get's me crying quite a few times!
"Toledo Surprise" from Drowsy Chaperone
"Not That Kind Of Thing" from Wedding Singer
"The Ballad of Sweeney Todd" from Sweeney Todd
Avenue Q- Almost every single day.
Jersey Boys- My ears adore them (heh)
Hell, Yes, The Color Purple
Millie- Listen to the whole cd a few times a week.
OMG-
A new skit for Gerard:

Lately I see to be going on a back and forth continuous loop of The Drowsy Chaperone and Ragtime, with the occaisional The Light in the Piazza thrown in. Strange, but there you go.

DEFYING GRAVITY from WICKED
NO BODY'S SIDE from CHESS
I LOVE Patti LuPone's "Being Alive"! And while I wouldn't say I listen to it several times a day, I almost always replay the song a couple times when it comes up in my ipod shuffle.

~Not That Kind Of Thing from wedding singer on account of its IMMENSE adorability
~If I Told You from wedding singer because Stephen and Laura's voices were like... MEANT for eachother. It is insane how gorgeous they sound when they sing together, especially such a gorgeous song
~Yes, its cliche, but Defying Gravity from wicked- I STILL get shivers every single time
~My Strongest Suit from aida. It is simply the most addicting, fun song in the world
~Louder Than Words- tick tick boom. I truly, truly believe that it is THE best written song ever. And I'm not even exaggerating.
~Always True To You (In My Fashion) from Kiss Me Kate, because I can never get enough of la Spanger
~Going Down, from the Hair benifit recording. I just recently discovered Gavin Creel, and holy. cow. That man has like... the hottest voice I have EVER heard!! So, yeah, I listen to it mostly just to hear his voice :P

what is SWIWS...
can we sometimes refrain from using acronyms from the get go.. some of us aren't that musically inclined and can't figure out what musical most of you are talking about when you only write in acronyms... and it's rather annoying.... i'd appreciate it...
and for me... i'm currently listening to:
It's Your Wedding Day, Casulty of Love and Not That Kind of Thing from the Wedding Singer
Everything That I Am from Tarzan
I'm Here from The Color Purple

SWIWS is See What I Wanna See, the off broadway show written by LaChousa(sp?) that Idina Menzel, Aaron Lohr, Mary Testa, Marc Kudisch, and Henry Stram were in
Sorry bout that, I think a lot of people tend to type SWIWS instead of typing the whole thingg out justt because its such a long title, and people kinda assume everyone knows what it means. Its kinda like how people type PoTO instead of typing out phantom of the opera :). But I'll try and keep that in mind if I'm ever talking about SWIWS, to try and type the full thing out at least once so people know

Yay for SWIWS!! I love this role and hope someday I can play it. I was actually just listening to that song. One of my favorites.

much thanks for telling me the title!
Im sorry for using abreviations and assuming everyone knows what im talking about. I shouldn't be lazy and just type "See What I Wanna See". The show really bored me by the way, but i like the CD.
All of The Color Purple
I hate the Bus - Caroline or Change
Most of Taboo
All of Merrily We Roll Along
These all get played 2 to 3 times a day.
'Not that Kind of Thing' and 'Right in Front of Your Eyes' - the Wedding Singer. That OBC is RIDICULOUSLY listenable and catchy!
