Anyone else see LaChanze this morning? She was perfection. She sounded great and looked great. I didn't realize what she's been through, just makes me love her even more! Ugh, I wish she could win. Oh well, at least her show is a hit and she got nominated.

Hey GUY!!! Kelly Rippa is a the best thing to happen to American televison since. . . . . . .EVER!!!! Her husband is lucky to get somone HALF as attractive as Kelly Ripa. *gives TicketMediaGuy an evil look*
I have NEVER met Cheyenne Jackson. I have never hung out with him in his dressing room, he did not tweet me, he never bought me a beverage, and he mostly certainly didn't tickle me. . .that is all.

I'm so pissed that I missed "The Color Purple" today! I'm taping the musical segments for a friend who can't see it and now I'm gonna be missing one! Was it good?

i Adore LaChanze,
Her Voice, Her Beauty (inside and out)
and her Ability to connect with her audience.
However, I think that song is just terrible and the weakness of the score could cost her the TONY she so deserves.
(but maybe not for this show)

It's the best song in the score. It's beautiful and powerful without being over the top. I think it's got some good lyrics in it, though some are a little amateurish, I think they work well and LaChanze pulls it off with grace and beauty.

LaChanze is like someone stated above "perfection". I think "I'm Here" is a great number. I was really hoping to have "I'm Here" on the Tony awards because I wanted the producers to promote her performance more (She was so touching in "TCP" I really hope she wins!) But the performance this morning was great. She's overcome a lot and is still striving for more. Love her, adore her, she can do no wrong.
Cheers,
Christopher

When in the show do they do the numbers? I have a class at 10 that it takes me 20 minutes to walk to... I just know I'll miss them.

Not until the very end. I set my alarm this morning for 9:45 because I couldnt take anymore of the chatter. And I woke up right when they were getting back from commercial break to show the performance.

I agree with you Folkyboy. Her performance was wonderful, but the best part for me was her interview. I was amazed at how she talked about her late husband and how she survived. I was impressed with Kelly's interview questions. Gr8 show.
Gosh, I hope she wins.

Yeah, I was surprised with their interview questions to LaChanze as well. Everyone was complaining about their stupid questions, but she really got in there and let use see LaChanze. I almost started crying when she asked the question about 9/11. You could tell LaChanze was a bit choked up, but she went on with it. What a trooper!
so Steam Heat was pretty good? I didn't get up to see it. But I'll be up early tommrow to see the next one.

Drowsy was amazing. Beth and Bob really showcased the show very well. I was watching it with my mother and she kept saying how man in chair is so relatable. At the end of the segment she said that she really wants to see the show now so hopefully the word will spread about this fabulous show!!
Happy...Everything!

Drowsy was very good. Regis saw it last night, he said, and only had high marks for the cast and "concept." They spent 3 segments with Charlie Gibson, one of their guests, so they didn't have time to talk with Beth and Bob before the show ended.

I am going to see Drowsy tonight, as I've been drawn in with all the hype. I'm moving soon from NYC, so I want to see it before I take off, or before it potentially wins Tonys.

Drowsy was Fantastic this morning!! Bob Martin was wonderful and Beth was exceptional! I'm glad they did so well, they really showed off (pun somewhat intended) the show very well!
