What a stupid audience.

I'll agree with those.
Grease? Really?
Wasn't too upset... but some were like what?!

Yuck!!!!
I stopped reading after "Leading Actress in a Broadway Play".
Yikes.

**and this is the part where I died laughing**
Strangely, I am glad Spamalot won Favorite Long-Running Show over Hairspray, Rent, Spring Awakening, Wicked. Thank you, Clay Aiken.
Some sort of glitch must have resulted in all the Young Frankenstein wins. Because . . . seriously?!?
It's just like all the other polling going on. Which has one show sweeping the Tonys. Which seems improable in a lackluster year.
what a joke
Apparently only 12 year olds attend the theatre.
wait, wait- didn't YF have a nominated song too? Because if so, how did this happen:
Favorite New Broadway Song
"In the Heights," In the Heights
It's a popularity contest. Just like the Tonys.
I don't think YF had a song. A few from INTH and Little Mermaid, Great selection this year.

anakela, maybe they liked the song "In the Heights" (and Lin enough to give him one), but didn't think the show was that great? I've definitely heard that sentiment elsewhere.

is it possible for an award with no merit to sell out? stopped reading at Leading Actress in a Play as well.

I hear that. Especially those Hannah Montana girls from that Broadway.com video.
I don't think YF had a song. A few from INTH and Little Mermaid, Great selection this year.
Nope, I finally found the nominations page, apparently YF had *two* songs-
Favorite New Broadway Song
"If Only" - The Little Mermaid
"In the Heights" - In the Heights
"Please Don't Touch Me" - Young Frankenstein
"Roll in the Hay" - Young Frankenstein
"She's In Love" - The Little Mermaid
I stopped after Young Frankenstein for Best Musical
Best Actor in a Musical made me pee a little.
Roger Bart was the worst thing about YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, in my opinion.
This is obviously just people voting for celebrities and familiar names.

I would like to make a statement.
WHAT THE HELL??
That is all.
I must say though...I am thrilled that my predictions were wrong and that GREASE didn't win for Breakthrough Performances, Revival, and Couple.
Sorry Ankela, I'm glad it got best song. But what a selection of songs it won from. And wickedrocks, how can that be true. If INTH won two awards.
The only one I really really agree with is the Best Replacement for female. Hannah Waddingham was absolutely amazing. I personally loved Spamalot, but I have a feeling that only won because of Clay Aiken. Such a shame.
