Broadway in Chicago Theatre Tours

Has anyone taken this tour?

"Broadway In Chicago Theatre Tour"

They advertise it on ticketmaster, but it says, no stage areas are included in the tour. Just curious where it goes then.

The theatres are rich in history and art, so that's what the tours are (I used to give the one at the Oriental when it was owned by Livent). Because the tours are through the theatre, they cannot take you backstage for insurance purposes. The stage, for insurance purposes, is leased to the production, so only tours granted by members of the show are allowed.

Ah yes, Insurance! Understandable.

You'd think they would have worked out a deal with the show like they have in NY.
