Pasek, and Harmon, and Taub -- oh my! 

I'm curious of which style -- or styles -- Pasek will use in his music. But quite an intriguing team they've assembled, along with Fein directing.

Yes. From the description, the musical looks a little different than the miniseries, as it cross-cuts between the young woman’s story and her grandmother’s.

They've said in interviews that Pasek writes lyrics and Paul writes music. Certainly there's some overlap (they're both credited as lyricists on La La Land), but looking at the credits of their shows, and seeing that Paul is often also credited with vocal arrangements and incidental music, it becomes clear that Pasek's main job is lyricist. It'll probably be a similar dynamic with Shaina Taub, where he'll mainly work on lyrics, but also have a hand in the music.
