Broadway performers at the Kennedy center honors.

Carole King is being honored so what are the chance a few people from the cast of beautiful are going to perform in her honor? Cicely Tyson and Rita Moreno are Broadway alums so they could possibly be getting some Broadway performance.

One of the things I have always liked about the show is not knowing who will be performing. Still one of the best produced shows annually.

When has Osnes NOT done a Kennedy Centre Honors?

I'm sure we'll see some form of the Beautiful cast.

LMM is in DC today, so I'm guessing he's involved somehow. Moreno most likely if he is performing.

From what I've read, the cast of Beautiful did perform during Carole King's tribute (featuring Jessie Mueller), as well as Sara Bareilles, James Taylor, Aretha Franklin, & Janelle Monae.

 

Lin-Manuel Miranda is featured in Rita Moreno's tribute which actually ended with Karen Olivo performing America.

Where did you hear that? Because from what I've read, there was no mention of her performing at all. I know she was at least in attendance.

 

I would also like to point out that I kind of made a mistake too. I originally posted that Jessie Mueller was performing during Carole King's tribute, but looks like it's Chilina Kennedy.
