Broadway roles for Rachel Zegler, Ariana DeBose, Anthony Ramos, and other movie-musical stars of 2021

Now that Andrew Garfield knows how to sing (he learned it specifically for tick, tick... BOOM!), I'd love to see him on the musical theatre stage. Unfortunately, since he's already nabbed his Tony, I'm not sure we'll see him on Broadway for some time.

I'd also love to see her as Natasha in Great Comet if that ever comes back...

I’d love for DeBose to step in for a brief run as Satine in Moulin Rouge since I know she would perform the S*** out of it - though hopefully opposite someone other than Aaron Tveit.

Faist has the opportunity to probably seize a few meaty dramatic roles, so I’m more focused on what he could do in that realm (like someone said with American Buffalo).

Zegler and Ramos…I can’t think of anything for them right now. I feel like Ramos needs the opportunity to create his own space and material in the same vein that Daveed Diggs did

Vanessa Hudgens - Sweet Charity, Louise in Gypsy, thought she would've been a good fit for Laurey in Daniel Fish's Oklahoma and if La La Land ever makes it to Broadway... cast her as Mia.

Rachel Zegler may get her pick of roles. She's the second coming of Julie Andrews. It's hard to believe that she has not yet appeared on Broadway. Would love to see her in any Rogers & Hammerstein show.

Get Andrew Garfield back on Broadway. Anything. I will buy a ticket.
