Pretty exciting news, a terrific production that ran for 2 years in the West End. For those that did not catch it, it's basically an exact replica of the 2001 Broadway revival.

I hope it’s shown on PBS next fall. I’ve seen the show twice once a regional production and the recent national tour. Why not three times the charm
I wasn’t very impressed with the cast album. Are they still using that “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” song that sounded so out of place?

I thought I was share this tidbit of Irony.
The actor who plays Billy Lawlor, Ashley Day, was so ill he couldn't perform for the recording so, his understudy, Phillip Bertioli, went on instead for the recording. I feel bad for Ashley because it he missed a chance to have his performance be preserved but, what an opportunity for Phillip.
