Posted: 4/1/09 at 7:30pmLast night I bought a Next to Normal ticket through Broadwaybox.com. I got an order confirmation, but no e-ticket yet. The show in on Saturday. Should I be concerned? I thought it was a reliable site, but you never know.

Posted: 4/1/09 at 7:31pmVery reliable site. You will have your ticket by Thursday at the latest.

Posted: 4/1/09 at 7:34pmVERY reliable...actually you bought it directly from telecharge....just using a link from BBox. I got my N2N tix about 24 hours later...but it often takes a few days....IF you don't get it by Friday night I would contact them.

Posted: 4/1/09 at 7:36pmSo here is a question.. if I get a E mailed ticket.. can I exchange it for a actual ticket at the box office?

Posted: 4/1/09 at 7:38pmJust to restate what dramamama said, Broadwaybox has discount codes that are used on Ticketmaster or Telecharge. You should be receiving your e tickets from telecharge soon.

Posted: 4/1/09 at 7:38pmI think if you show it to them and ask, they will probably print one out for you. I think I have read other posts where people were able to do this.

Posted: 4/1/09 at 7:42pmIf you want an actual ticket you can use the "will call" option which doesn't cost any money. Just pick up your ticket at the box office

Posted: 4/1/09 at 7:45pmI never understood why people would spend extra money for the opportunity to print the ticket out on the paper they paid for, with the ink they paid for, using the electricity they're paying for to print it, when for FREE you can pick up a real live ticket at the box office.

They did not charge me extra money. I choose to have the e tickets sent to me so that I can distribute them to my friends and have them meet me at the seats. That way I am on my own schedule. Not that I understand your prissy attitude. Different people have different needs and it is nice to have different options.
The question was not "Should I have ordered my ticket another way". The question was.. Can I change my e ticket for a real ticket. LORD.

Posted: 4/1/09 at 7:52pmPrinting it out and picking it out at will call is the same amount of money.

Posted: 4/1/09 at 8:11pmDame. I got e-tickets for Billy Elliot. I gave them to friends who were appalled! Seems they collect their tickets and frame them with the playbills. Long story short, they took the e-tickets to the box office and asked them and they had hard tickets printed out. It shouldn't be a big deal.

I apologize. I was referring to Ticketmaster, which does charge more money to print the tickets out at home. I assumed Telecharge followed the same practice. So, for NEXT TO NORMAL, sold through Telecharge, it would indeed cost the same to print them out that it would to pick them up at the box office.
If you're buying a ticket to a show like WEST SIDE STORY, sold through Ticketmaster, it would cost extra money to print the ticket out at home, and it is free to pick the ticket up at the box office.

So should be fine! I got my tixs there too- no problem! I never like e-tix though, because I collect show tickets which i inserted on my playbill ( I am such a nerd! LOL)
Youre all set! Dont worry! Great show, btw!
