I haven't seen discussions of this event which is in a few days. I have attended in the past, twice, as a guest of a presenter and it was less interesting the second time. The lineup this year is a bit meh to me. Not so much star power? Lots of emphasis on Wicked. And surprisingly at least 10 unfilled slots at least as of last night. Curious to hear back from folks attending.

I’ll be at Once Upon A One More Time Saturday so I was planning on going before my show. There aren’t many panels I’m interested in so I’m going to pass. Glad I didn’t spend the money for a BroadwayCon pass!
It might not even happen this year if/when IATSE goes on strike.
Truly not the brightest idea for them to move it to the summer. First of all, most of the people who came in past years are working on their summer community theater or camp shows. Second, half of the appeal was the season preview. There's not much over the summer, and what there is has already been in performances for a bit.

I was taking a look at the con and its offerings this year versus last year. There are some interesting panels, but a lot of niche ones and just nothing stood out to me (THREE social media/TikTok panels?) I couldn't imagine being motivated to come out of town, but I'll be interested to see what the fan response is like this year. The schedule looks more like an academic conference than a fan convention to me...

I'm pretty sure there's a day pass option that grants access to the marketplace
The panel lineup this year is really lacking star power and the topics seem incredibly dry.
