Luckily, not too many critics DID give this a good review, so very little respect lost.

"I have lost my respect for every critic who gave this show a good review"
Because you don't agree with them. . . ?

I find the "originating a Broadway role" part a bit hard to swallow. If you read that whole article she tactfully goes about saying how she didn't get to dance and the part wasn't much.
She originated that role on Suddenly Susan, I don't feel like it's much of a leap to Broadway. That character sustained an arc for a while. It really does sound like she walked away nicely.

"Yep, Brooke is the savior of Broadway... just look what she did for On the Town and Addams Family. Those ran for YEARS and YEARS!"
Actually, the Addams Family only ran for like 2 years. It opened March 2010 and closed December 2011.
