Welcome to the boards. If youre a Wicked fan, watch out. These people have claws and nail-sharp teeth.

Im excited to see this show actually. Not only because of Eden but because of what critics are calling it. IE: "An even more updated and personal version of RENT"; etc.

I'm sorry to be a spoilsport, but do we need yet ANOTHER Brooklyn thread that doesn't seem to have any purpose other than people saying to each other, "Brooklyn rules!"?

Rent needs no updating. That said, Brooklyn has potential. But has anyone ever told you not to count your chickens before they hatch?

RENT can work for generations to come. Please do not make it sound as if it is dated and old. :)

<3s and happiness to Spider and NDBT. Rent's themes will always be relevant. People are always afraid to live life to the fullest and of trusting someone else with their emotions.

yea rent wont get old for a while... though i must say the broadway cast has taken the show on a downhill turn... the idea of the musical wont be easily replaced no matter how similar brooklyn may be.

RENT rocks to this day. And although they are different shows, having seen Brooklyn in Denver, I have to say I like RENT a bit more. I wouldn't leave Denver for Brooklyn but I am going to see it when I am in NYC.

Haha. People who remember my post a few weeks ago.
And I stated soon Brooklyn will be run by the Teeny Boppers!!!!!! And it's happening very quickly. Since it's starring Eden, it already got all the Wicked groupies.
