Yes, his name was associated with Waitress. ..and I'm sure Neon is right...he can't just usurp Kready.

 

Just saw the show again last week or so. Kready was very good but I LOVED the women.  Scarlett Stralken (Sibella) was amazing!

Yeah I would think that H.C. closing early wouldn't make him come back earlier, I'm pretty sure he'll wait until Jeff is done, it wouldn't be fair to Jeff if he returned early (also Jeff is doing wonderfully from what I've heard, I'm sorry I probably can't see him) and also I'm sure Bryce could use a short break for a few months.

It has nothing to do with being "nice", it's contractual.

Kready and Pinkham both have contracts with Gentleman's Guide.

Pinkham took a leave of absense to do Heidi Chronicles, so it closing changes nothing. He will still return to Gentleman's Guide to finish out the final weeks of his contract on the appointed date and one can safely assume that Kready will again assume the role of Monty when those weeks are completed.

He's officially returning on July 28!
