A new musical by 21 year old composer, Carl Calow is this springs new musical offering at the Watermill in Newbury. Its subject is family bereavement and family values! ...all that and the news that the venue has secured its future with its £3M fund raising now complete.
Thanks for the link, I had a look with great interest.
I enjoyed there production of Sunset Boulevard, but couldn't car for Sweeny Todd, are these the only ones that have transfered from The watermill to London?
I thought the a/m concept worked really well with Mack and Mabel because it suited the tragic nature of the material better than a broadway-pizazz type staging.
