Wow. I didn't even know she had cancer.
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body

Very sad. Sending my thoughts to her husband and family. Loved her in Chicago and in Spamalot. At least she's not suffering anymore.

That's horrible. RIP.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

This truly breaks my heart as I was just thinking about her yesterday.

CHICAGO was one of my first Broadway shows and I met Darlene Wilson at the stage door. She took me backstage, showed me all around, introduced me to people and gave me a little advice on the business.

I will treasure that experience forever and as a professional actor still trying to make it in the business, I hope I can make Darlene proud.

Such sad news...I saw her in Spamalot and she was wonderful. My condolences to her family and friends.

So terribly sad. At least she was doing what she loved, even if it was so such a terribly short time.

My prayers are with her family and friends, and of course her as well.
