Will, that means you're completely misinformed. Try again.

I'm 17, but I do have the mind of a 12 year old, and yes exactly like the awkward situations I've been involved with on the website (especially the ones MusicSnob1 likes to stick me in).

I adore you, MusicSnob!
I stick you in nothing. You do fine all by yourself....especially with the "mind of a 12 year old"

With "the mind of a 12 year old" and the IQ of salt, this kid is going places!

Perhaps Willy Wonka should hop in his "segway" and scooter out of here.

Did Willy Boy take my advice?
I figured I'd only embarrass myself more if I kept talking, but I don't see why you feel the need to continually pick on me. I wrote idiotically and had a massively awkward day yesterday, why does that need to continue? Just so you can have a laugh?
Oh, leave the poor kid alone. Like he said...he's new to the musical theatre scene. I do highly disagree with his thoughts on the recent revival of Bye Bye Birdie though. But, everyone has their own tastes and opinions.
I'm ready for this production to close so there won't be anymore talk of this misguided revival.

Okay, let me end this by saying something nice about Willy-the- Wonderboy:
Judging from his avatar, he seems to be really cute.

One suggestion, though--
Will, please go back to your original post on this thread and correct the title to "Cast Album" and not "Soundtrack".
We'll all get along better when you do.
lol Thanks Dollypop
I think, and this is just from his posts, that this is more about Nolan. Oh to be 17 again. He has Nolan and Ann-Margret. For me it was David Naughton and Bette Midler. Some things never change.
I have no idea how to edit anything, but if you tell me I'd be glad to.
And Bette Midler is also amazing too!! Although I don't know who David Naughton really is, oops. Is he the one from "An American Werewolf in London"?
Yes that is him. He also had a short lived sitcom "Making It." He had a minor pop hit with the Title song as well. But that was years ago. I've moved on from boys to men; however, Bette Midler remains a constant.

LOL ROFL LMAO!! xoxo
Since we are talking about BIRDIE one lyric has always puzzled me, and as I don't have a script and the lyrics are not in the CD booklets maybe someone here knows.
The song "How Lovely to be a woman" has a Line "The wait/weight was well worthwhile." I can't tell which word it is. Both would make sense...a little extra weight or the wait for puberty to pass.
Every time I hear that lyric I have wondered.
Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!
I host a weekly one-hour radio program featuring cast album selections as well as songs by cabaret, jazz and theatre artists. The program, FRONT ROW CENTRE is heard Sundays 9 to 10 am and also Saturdays from 8 to 9 am (eastern times) on www.proudfm.com

I'm sure the intent is "wait". I've never even considered it to be otherwise.

I've never even considered it as "weight". It doesn't have enough emphasis on the phrase (to me) to be acknowledged as a reference to body weight as opposed to "wait".

Now that I think of it, I've seen some amateur productions of BIRDIE where Kim had such heavy thighs that "USDA CHOICE" could have been stamped upon them. In those instances, the "weight" choice would have been preferable.
