I love when stuff like that happens. It's part of what makes live theatre so special. You never know what's going to happen.

Wow, what timing. Now the cast/crew has even MORE to be worried about tomorrow!

PS...one of the comments maintain that the stoppage was actually less then 20 minutes, although the intermission seemed long.

Well, the damage is done anyhow. The show was already reviewed by everyone when this happened. Maybe it happened as the reviewers were typing about the show, and they sent the "nice" vibes all the way to the theater

It sounds like the impromtu comedy routines were better than the show.

I was going to say... maybe they should just do this every night instead of the show itself lol. I have to say though, much of the fault lies with the director and casting director. Gina and John are both talented, but miscast.

Do people still think shows are actually reviewed on opening night?

Opening night is just a big party, a photo op, and a press event. The critics have seen the show already during previews and have completed their reviews (with very few exceptions) days in advance.

I'll be there tonight for opening night and the opening night festivities afterwards. Is anyone else here planning on going? And...how is Nolan since the tonsillitis?
