Man...what happened to Tommy Tune??? Did he lose his mind or what?

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

Susan Egan (original Belle on Bway) was on the tour as well. She was Kim. If you google "Marc Kudisch Official Website" the first site that comes up is his site. He has videos up from the production, "A Lot of Living", and "Honestly Sincere", if I remember correctly.

I'll take the wind and soar.

I saw this production at the Forrest in Philadelphia in the early 1990's and thoroughly enjoyed it. Strouse & Adams wrote a new song for Tommy Tune: "Take A Giant Step" which came off well. Ann Reinking danced up a storm in the Shriners ballet. And the late Marilyn Cooper brought down the house with her comic delivery of Mae Peterson's lines. Supposedly, Tune did not bring it into NYC because it was a revival and not an original musical: Tune's own standard for being associated with a show.

I also thought Marc was great, and really hot, in the 95 TV version, despite being only a year and a half older (and at some points actually looking younger) than his Kim (a terribly miscast Chynna Phillips). And even making Kim 17 rather than 15 didn't help. Chynna was already looking older than she actually was as is.

For all that that version did wrong, at least they got Conrad right.
