re: Bye Bye INISHMORE

Whatever it is, it will not last

I swear Max & Leo would open Sprintime For Hitler here to insure it flops. Shows here do not hang around long

>Shows here do not hang around long<

As an east of Broadway playhouse, the Lyceum doesn't always get the choice bookings. But I Am My Own Wife had a run of about a year in there just two years ago. I seem to recall too, that I Am My Own Wife had to close a little prematurely because Whoopi Goldberg wanted the theatre for the return of her one woman show.

The Longacre, however, is like a heat seeking missile set out to destroy any show's commercial prospects.

Sunday, September 3, 2006 is the reincarnation of Sunday, June 10, 2001.

Too bad I missed it, I'll have to find a good regional production in the future...

I agree, the should've done what ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST did a few years back, where they closed before the new cast came in, saying it would save them a ton of money, which I'm sure it did.
How to properly use its/it's: Its is the possessive. It's is the contraction for it is...

By the way, the scaffolding that surrounded the Lyceum for more than a year has been dismantled, and the facade looks spectacular, as well as the newly restored copper detailing on the roof. It still looks like they have more cleaning to do, as the lower third of the facade has a layer of dirt on it, but the rest of the place looks great.

They have t-shirts!?! Wow that's weird because I didn't see a merch stand when I saw the show in June.

re: Bye Bye INISHMORE

Does anyone know if the t-shirts are available online? I love the script but wasn't able to see the show. So far I have checked the official website, broadway newyork.com, and ebay and have yet to find them.

re: Bye Bye INISHMORE

Just saw this show and WOW - nothing like any play I've ever seen, Broadway or otherwise. So refreshing and HILARIOUS! Sad that it won't be around much longer, but glad I got to see it when I did. Who says Broadway can't do blood and guts?

My dad wanted to see this when we go to New York in October.
I wanted to see Sweeney.

We're even stevens, now.
