I know i'm definitely in the minority here, but i truly adore everything about this production, especially this new recording. I bought the cd immediately when the theater opened Friday night -- my third viewing of this production -- and have been listening to it non-stop since curtain came down.  The orchestra is lush, i'm happy they included bits of the new book, and the cast is brilliant....... including Burnap, IMO.  

It's certainly making me want 4th visit before Sept 3rd

Same here. I haven't been able to see the show yet but I'm loving the album. My copy of the CD arrived today and it's beautiful.

You're not alone - I LOVED the production when I saw it back in March. This recording sounds truly wonderful.
