This is SO exciting. What a good start to 2017! Hopefully this is just the beginning of LFLC DVD's!

I will be buying this. Of the three filmed versions of Carousel, this is my favorite. I recorded it off of PBS to a DVD at the time it aired, but I'd always rather have the commercially available edition.

It's cheaper on their own website. Can't wait for this!
Oh my gosh praise hands! When my DVR got wiped out, I thought I'd lost this taping for good. Will be buying 100%

Can't believe this!!!! Will we get a Falsettos too? Or previous productions? Let's buy them up to show there is a market.
I know it wasn't a Live From Lincoln Center event, but where is the Hamilton's America DVD? They'd make a fortune. My DVR wasn't working when it was broadcast and re-broadcast and now of course it isn't scheduled.
This bodes very well! I would buy every Broadway show they've done.

The 1967 TV version starring Robert Goulet. It's not bad, but the Live from Lincoln Center version is better.

Thanks! I looked for it on amazon.com and amazon.ca, and neither had it. Do you have any idea if it is available anywhere on DVD? (Of course i'll still be ordering the Lincoln Center production).

It isn't commercially available. I got my copy from ioffer.com there are a couple sellers there who specialize in long forgotten TV movies there. I also grabbed the TV version of Damn Yankees too.
I was there on the night it was filmed. I was in a $139 left tier box seat. The show was staged so far to our side of the stage that no one in our box could see even a plank of the bench.
Upon calling the next day, I was offered an apology. They had erred in staging it that far to the side of the stage.
And then I missed the broadcast a couple of weeks later.
Now I'll finally be able to see what I missed.
Jimmycurry, thanks for the replies! I'll hope to come across it some day and get a chance to check it out.

I just saw this for the dvd:
http://www.entertainmentoutpost.com/apps/webstore/products/show/7001738
In stock and shipping on Amazon.
Don't see on iTunes yet.
Amazon Prime has it for under $15.00 (I also use honey extension which might be reducing the cost even further).

Ordered via Amazon - thank you for the heads up!!
My pre-order from Barnes and Noble came on Wednesday! I can't wait to watch it. It's about time we had a proper version of this incredible musical on film.
