I wonder what theatre it'll take
Let think
These are the nine Nederlander Houses and their tenants as of now
Nederlander (MDQ)
Gershwin (Wicked)
Brooks (Rock of Ages)
Lunt (Adams Family)
Richard Rodgers (In the Heights)
Neil Simon (Rain, in a few weeks)
Minskoff (Lion King)
Palace (West side story- Thru 1-2-11, Then (something else is booked for March)
The Marquis (Something is book just can't remember what)
So lets think the only theatres I can see becoming open are
Nederlander
Richard Rodgers
Brooks
Lunt
What does everyone else think? It would have to go into one of those 4

Perhaps it is taking the Neil Simon, if Lloyd Webber got to work out having Catch Me If You Can There since its partial same creative team.
WONDERLAND: A New Alice. A New Musical Adventure (don't you love it) has the Marquis, and I believe that is official by now.
I think there's some very enjoyable moments in this one (obviously not my front runner for the season), but I hope they changed some bits and intend to actually have more of a .. set.

Priscilla has the Palace, Wonderland has the Marquis.

If indeed there...
Who knows whats going on with LND - except the fact that the houses in London are going down every week.
I could see Catch Me taking the Rodgers however.
I think Nederlander could keep the Neil Simon free for LND or Evita.

Posted: 9/20/10 at 2:35pmCatch Me if You Can is playing and has secured the Richard Rogers Theatre. The reason the announcement says "At a Nederlander Theatre to be determined" is because the current management of In The Heights is not ready to announce closing (Since they just added a new star). CMIYC made this announcement because the dates are now set. They would not have made this announcement if they had not secured the theatre, and certainly wouldn't have been able to provide dates.

Posted: 9/20/10 at 3:16pmWhy would In The Heights close so soon? The movie is coming out in the near future (if they ever film it and cast it) and will boost sales.

Posted: 9/20/10 at 3:18pmThe movie won't even be finished shooting until August & I've heard that In The Heights is moving. Whether that means Off-Broadway or to another Bway Theatre I don't know.
