Loved it at Encores, looking forweard to seing it again. The score is terrific, one of my all-time favs, filled with gorgeous melodies and amazing lyrics.

Posted: 8/17/09 at 6:59pmI personally adored it at Encores. Kate Baldwin, in addition to Cheyenne and Jim Norton, is a major reason to see it. Probably more of a reason than Cheyenne (who I love).
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

Posted: 9/18/09 at 3:57pmWhile the sock puppets are obvious, I am still really excited for this. Kalimba, I couldn't disagree with you more regarding Kate Baldwin. She is far from bland. She's incredibly talented, and her performance as Sharon at Encores! was so nuanced and lovely. I can't wait to see this.
