I picked up my ticket last month and it says, "At the Pershing Square Signature Center, The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre."  I hope it doesn't change theaters.

The full cast has been announced: 

The cast will also include current The Book of Mormon star Dave Thomas Brown as Josh, with Ephie Aardema as Tai, Lori Alan as Miss Geist/Ms. Stoeger, Sara Andreas as Heather, Gilbert L. Bailey II as Murray, Will Connolly as Travis, Danielle Marie Gonzalez as Lucy, Tessa Grady as Amber, L'ogan J'ones as Max, Darius Jordan Lee as Sean, Justin Mortelliti as Christian, Zurin Villanueva as Dionne and Chris Hoch as Mel/Mr. Hall/DMV Instructor.

The ensemble will feature Tiffany Engen, Katie Goffman, Talya Groves, Jeff Kuhr and Brett Thiele.

Does anybody know had the view is from the partial view balcony seats at the alice griffin jewel box theater? Was thinking about getting them, but if I'm going to be missing a lot of the show than i might splurge for the regularly priced tickets. Thanks!

Depends how the stage is laid out. For "Jerry Springer" it was a thrust, and not really a bad seat, but just depends how they use the space. It's not a great space for a musical, and I can't really see this moving to Broadway.

CLUELESS is in the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre.  JERRY SPRINGER was in the Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre.

Oh interesting. This is their smaller space, no? I've seen a play there, but don't remember it quite as much. I'd imagine every seat is pretty good though considering it is new construction, every seat should have a decent view?

I was at the show tonight and it was a hot mess.

It all came off like an amateur parody production that wasn’t funny. Let’s just say one of the lyrics was “Our maid Lupe from San Juan, who I set up with our mailman Don.” They used so many stupid jokes that all fell flat; literally at some points the audience just sat in silence.

All I can say is: Choices.

There's original lyrics? How much of the score is jukebox? Is there a song list?

No song list. Pretty much they took the tune of some songs and changed all the lyrics to match the scene (i.e. Torn, Say My Name, etc.), other times it was a full song in its entirety with minor changes (i.e. Kids In America). 

When it was complete lyric changes, it was a hard time to decipher what song it originally was. Oh, another lyric change that stood out was rhyming torn  from the song “Torn” with “maple glazed popcorn.”

NEED SERIOUS ADVICE GUYS:

Clueless is my favorite movie of all time and I would HATE to miss this musical, but I am out of town on business for the complete run of the show. :O   Should I make a pricey quick one night trip to NYC to see this???? I came here trying to see if it would transfer or get extended but it looks like that's a no go. 

What do you guys think? Should I come back for one night to see the show? I need to decide ASAP.

Well, you're basing your decision off one review? So I'd say that's up to you. I mean it's a small space, so I can't imagine much will be done in terms of production value. But if you NEED to see your favorite movie on stage, then I guess it'd be worth it?
