Guys, I know I'm the last person you expect to hear this from, but calm down.
Maybe someone can start a chat room. This thread should be a place to compile reviews, not freak out.
I wouldn't mind an Irish coffee about now . . .
Who's serving?
I'm clearly already drunk, as I wrote Bradley instead of Brantley (thanks fantab)
DOH!
Lets say convert this to a freakout thread, and wait until it gets deleted. I'll move the reviews, if we must.

This thread will NOT be deleted under the watch of Emcee's babysitting duties.
I kind of feel like I am babysitting.
Okay, kids, meet me in the chat room.
noo I feel left out
*cries in a corner.

The nobodys are up! But I think this is the closest I've come to agreeing with them. Although, would anyone else not feel comfortable having Mike as their physician, "walking around the stage in a very complicated manner"

I'm horrified by the 63 year old nurse's reaction to Raul.
OK, they were actually pretty articulate this time. Especially considering that they didn't pass this show onto the resident homo (I think his name is Vincent?) who seems to always have something intelligent to say about the more complicated pieces. Something I did not need to see was the old lady licking her lips and saying Raul is yummy.
"Sondheim is tough. You don't walk out of the theater humming his music."
Does she think that regurgitating the most commonly-used description of Sondheim's shows makes her look informed?
I understand this is supposed to be the "average person's" opinion, but would it kill them to find people that actually know how to talk about theatre? "I love Stephen Sondheim. He is one of my all-time favorites." Oy.
And yeah, the old woman's reaction to Raul was seriously disturbing.
That score is stuck in my head CONSTANTLY.
They weren't awful this time, but still kind of bleh. The clips, though, are gorgeous.
AUDREY, THAT WAS SO. UNCOMFORTABLE. And Mike knows no other word but 'excellent'.
As Emcee said, the clips are breathtaking. I'm dying having not seen this yet.
I would not want Audrey anywhere near me in a hospital.
I think I'm scared for life because of the old lady.
That was...frightening, yes.
Is anyone else fairly annoyed with the reviews thus far that just constantly compare it to Sweeney Todd? Company is it's own show!
That tongue thing was... seriously creepy.
He's beautiful, but that was... not.

I don't even know what to say to Audrey. It wasn't even normal lip-licking (I can't believe I just said that). It was this very strange, slightly disturbing...well, you get it. Anyway, the clips, like many others have said, are fantastic. They gave me chills. December 9th needs to come faster!
Looking forward to Brantley's review as well!
