COMPANY Revival Recording Release Date...

Sorry, if this has been posting. I tried searching.

Amazon is listing the release date of the new Company cast recording as January 23.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Okay, now that I'm done being excited, does anyone know of a way to find out how valid this is? Are Amazon's dates usually reliable? Barnes and Noble isn't showing anything yet, as far as I can tell. I just don't want to get my hopes up if it's only an optimistic estimate. The PS Classics website just says "early 2007."

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Amazon.com was the first to post the Sweeney Todd cd release date (and I believe it was accurate).

In any case, I can't WAIT for the Company recording to be released!!

Bad news, everyone.

AMAZON.COM has changed the release date of the recording to March 6.

I thought it was odd that a show that opened a month after Sweeney did would be released sooner than Sweeney's recording.

I was just wondering about this today!
I haven't seen the show in NYC, but I saw the previews in Cincinatti, and loved this version. I am looking forward to adding another Raul recording to my collection.
