COMPANY on Georgia Public Broadcasting

This sucks... I just found out that COMPANY won't air on GPB on Wednesday, February 20th. For those of us in Georgia... We have to wait until Saturday, March 1st at 1:00 AM. 1:00 in the morning?!!!

Oh, it'll be available for download online hours after the airing, so don't worry. You'll be able to watch it on your computer on Thursday 2/21/08.

No biggie.

For some reason, that seems to be the case with almost every Great Performances telecast here in Dooleyland (which is what I'm sure the Georgia General Assembly is going to rename the state any day now; priorities, you know). The same thing happened with Contact, The Light in the Piazza, Fosse, et.al.

KCET in Los Angeles isn't airing it until Saturday the 23rd. And they're starting it at 10PM. Great timing, folks. 10PM on a Saturday night....

I'm surprised Chicago is airing it on Wednesday night, because they usually do their own schedule as well. It's the nature of the beast with PBS.

Maurice, I'm just happy they're showing it at all. Why do they never show any of the Great Performances? Btw, I'm pretty sure they showed "Contact" at some point.

Yes, Contact did air eventually. I believe on a Saturday night. I meant that the shows I mentioned aired later than the expected time, not that they didn't air at all.

I was worried about Denver but I just got my PBS e-mail on Thursday and we are getting it on Wednesday. I would hate to have to watch it on my computer, too small of a screen and not the same.
