On Wednesday, August 18, the Tony Award winning production, directed by Bartlett Sher, will be broadcast nationally at 8pm on PBS' "Live From Lincoln Center."
Rodgers & Hammerstein's SOUTH PACIFIC currently stars Laura Osnes as Nellie Forbush and William Michals as Emile deBecque, while that role's originator, Tony Award winner Paulo Szot, fulfills an opera commitment in Spain. Mr. Szot returns to the production beginning Tuesday, July 6.
