All joking aside, I don't know if he brings anything more or less to the table than a number of other folks could.
Boop was well done. It wasn't well produced or brought to the arena at the right time. It came in too late and couldn't gain its word of mouth fast enough.

Was thinking about how much potential I think a version of this not done with Diane (or Jerry) could have and got hit with the wildest sense of deja vu.
Wasn’t Diane Warren fairly recently attached to a musical project that also involved Shoshana? Did I make that up? I seem to remember saying nearly the exact same thing “I’d be into it, if not for Diane Warren”
Also I really agree with the above poster. I’m going to rewatch soon but based on my haphazard memories this has the bones of a story. Although I can’t imagine Jerry Mitchell capturing the grime and grit I’m imagining for the bar choreography.
