Where's the best place to grab a cab or or Uber as quickly as possible after a weekday Ragtime matinee at LCT? With the show letting out around 4:45pm, any idea on a realistic time for the drive crosstown to Madison & 53rd, assuming the usual traffic?

I'd say allow yourself 25 minutes, though it could easily take 10 to 15. Call an Uber to either Columbus Ave directly in front of Lincoln Center (can probably find a cab here too), or to 65th Street between Amsterdam and Broadway.

Thank you!

Might be worth noting that, when I saw the 8PM performance of RAGTIME Wednesday night, I wasn't on the street until about 11:05PM and we walked out directly after bows.
Go to 65th and Amsterdam. Most people go to Broadway which can be a **** show after a performance.

Very helpful, thanks. Not seeing the show for several more weeks, kind of hoping that the run time might be a bit tighter by then, but I'll be checking the message boards for any updates.
Don’t remember the runtime at City Center, but most RAGTIMEs I’ve seen have been very close to 3 hours. It’s a lot of show. And doesn’t sound like this production has made trims like the ‘09 production, right?

Amsterdam heads North, and OP wants to get to 53/Madison...
Id get an Uber on 65th Street which heads across the park, but it might be quickest to take the 1 train to Columbus Circle, switch for B/D, and then switch to the E which takes you directly to 53rd Street half block from Madison.
