Hey guys
do any of you know of any scary/campy stage plays (in the sense of 80s slasher films or 50s B movies)
All help greatly appreciated
There is Evil Dead or were you looking for straight plays?
Would love our company to do evil dead but it needs t be a play grrr
Never saw it on stage, but there is always Deathtrap.
nvm
those are a few popular titles, the yahoo theatre directory is very helpful:

oh wow, ok, forget about the yahoo directory, looks like it's pretty much useless for plays. My first thought would be to look at script rental sites like samuel french
Oh of course, why didn't i think of that
How about the Lieutenant of Inishmore?
Edit: or Psycho Beach Party
Pillowman?
Look into Charles Busch's work, his stuff is very campy and usually borrows from old horror/B-Movie/film noir stuff
Charles Ludlam's plays were also full of camp, and sometimes made knowing use of schlocky movie conventions.
ETA: I'm thinking of Hot Ice and The Artificial Jungle, which admittedly are not the two plays one first thinks of when one thinks of Charles Ludlam.

The Mystery of Irma Vep....Charles Ludlam and Everett Quinten...possibly moving off-Broadway
Irma Vep is a stitch, but it's more Victorian-penny-dreadful-schlock than 50s-B-movie-schlock. Might be what sonanddanceman is looking for, though, you never know. (It's a two-actor quick-change play, if you're wondering.)
You guys are stars thank you for your help XXXXXx
