Hey friends, hoping you can give me some advice.
For my April visit, I have tickets for: Funny Girl, Little Shop, Sweeney Todd, New York, New York, and & Juliet.
I have one slot left, and can't decide between: Bad Cinderella, Parade, and SHUCKED.
I like a wide variety--serious to funny, big/splashy to more intimate/dramatic.
Thanks for your help! :)

I recommend Parade or Shucked.
I didn't hate Bad Cinderella in London but it was just okay. I've seen worse and far better. They've changed the lyrics for some songs for Broadway, for the worse in my opinion, so I recommend it even less.
If your trip is in late April maybe wait for the reviews to come out for Shucked? Or even March 8, I'm sure there will be reviews here from the preview period. I'm definitely intrigued because I love a show that makes me laugh, and supporting new musicals, but it could be terrible. Then it makes an easy choice for Parade!

Parade has an excellent cast & beautiful score but it is heavy topically. It is memorable and important so that would be my pick!

Thanks for this advice!
Waiting to hear what others on here think about Shucked may be a smart move. I noticed earlier today that there are fantastic orchestra seats for $200, and thought about just taking the leap.
Typically, I'd jump at seeing a new ALW show, but I've been hesitant, after reading comments on here.

When do you want to have your decision made? Bad Cinderella starts previews in less than two weeks so it might be worth waiting.

Well they have those same Shucked orchestra seats on for $69 during previews. I still wouldn't pay that without knowing what I'm getting into.
Right now it looks like something that could be another POS like Kpop & open in March & be closed by April.

Thanks defences! I’m flexible—I could easily wait a couple of weeks to read what folks are saying about BC.

Thanks inception! My trip is late April.
This will be the first and probably last revival of Parade in our lifetimes. If you are into Hal Prince, Sondheim-esque prestige shows there is no question that Parade is a must-see. If you do like shows that are a bit less pretentious and fun maybe consider other options. I think I enjoyed Cinderella in London more than others but there is <six>NO WAY</six> you could even pay me to miss Parade for it.

I’m in the same boat. Coming to NY at the end of May/first week of June for a week so have space for 7 shows. Planning and buying my tickets is my favourite part of organizing the trip. So far I have tickets for:
Sweeney Todd
& Juliet
Camelot
Days of Wine and Roses
I try and see a couple plays and really want to see new material. Not interested in Parade but am considering the following:
Kimberly Akimbo
Room
Life of Pi
Fat Ham
New York New York depending on the reviews

Oh please see Kimberly Akimbo!!! Such a charming, wonderful show. I definitely recommend it!!
I saw Fat Ham at the Public last Summer. It was amusing, but not too deep. It is inspired by Shakespeare’s Hamlet, but ends up being more of a comedy with dramatic moments. Marcel Spears, the lead, is a sitcom TV actor and this feels sort of like one of those "special episodes" 80's sitcoms would have where dramatic life lessons get learned.
Have you considered Leopoldstadt?

I looked at Leopoldstadt for my trip last fall but honestly was put off by the price. Everything is more expensive when you add the exchange rate to Cdn dollars but those tickets were WAY pricier than everything else so I walked away from it. If there were cheaper tickets then I totally would
