Just have to chime in here really quickly and say that I love this thread!!! How deserving an appreciation thread for someone so utterly talented and amazing!! I know he will continue doing great things, I can not wait for the album!!!

Ok let me say what Ive got real quick.

Who said he has no vocal training? He attended a perfomring arts high school, they train you there vocally.

As for single, last i heard, hes taken. Or was certainly atleast seeing someone who attended the pippin benefit, met him at the afterparty.

He can be seen around hells kitchen if you really want to stalk him, thats where he resides, just say hi, he talks to everyone who says hello, nice kid.

Album is in definitely supposed to be coming. Was working on it recently when i last spoke to him.

Thats all i got, glad to see so many people appreciate such a nice young guy, happy michael watching!

Michael Arden has had vocal training he's now studying with Liz Caplan... I dunno how long he's been studying with her, but I think he started with her when he was cast in Bare.

www.michael-arden.com is his fan base... there are some clips from Bare on there but not from his album

A little late, but I listened to Bare for the first time the other day.

All I can say is that it is an absolute shame that the show never got the financial backing it needed, but with Michael's voice I don't think it'll hurt his career in the slightest.

I think we all just need to be counting down the days until his first Tony win.

I agree on both counts. Bare is a masterpiece... those writers have hits ahead of them, definitely. And Michael Arden as well.

I don't know if I'm more impressed by Michael's voice or his compositions. He's certainly got a long, bright future ahead of him. I hope some of you can make it to Pippin in L.A. and let us know how it goes.

Oh and he's also humble and kind. I just kind of want to pinch his cheeks and tell him to snap out of that and be the egotistical diva he deserves to be on occassion.

The guy seems talented, but this thread seems a bit pre-mature. Michael has yet to prove himself to the theatre world at large. (True, the teeny booper scene seems to have embraced him, but the grown-up world isn't buying yet.) He may very well have a nice carrer ahead of him, but this thread might qualify as over kill.

Let's see I was born October 7, 1976, which makes me, 1...2...3... many years away from being a teenager.

This is true. But Liz Caplan isn't a voice teacher. She's a vocal coach. And there's a big difference.

I was lucky enough to meet Michael, see Pippin twice, and go to the afterparty. He was absolutely amazing, as was the rest of the cast. Michael and Sam.. man, absolutely phenomenal.

yep, michael was truly beautiful in pippin. damn you don't know how badly i want a recording of that cast! that would make my dreams come true. well, except for the other dream of mine where michael and i get married, but whatever.
