I love Michael Arden. He is going to be Pippin at Reprise in LA soon. He is also releasing an album later in the year.

Michael Arden is one of the most talented wonderful actors out there.
I saw him in Bare
and in Standing Ovations 2
and in the Encores Bash
and when I saw Opening Doors at Carnegie Hall, he was there!!!
(This was shortly after Bare was cancelled, and I was absolutely distraught. I was actually just talking about the sad state of this with a friend before the show started. And then when intermission came, MICHAEL ARDEN WALKED RIGHT PAST ME IN THE LOBBY! I did a double take, started to hyperventilate, and then RAN after him. I politely stopped him, and told him how wonderful I thought he was, and how absolutely sorry I was about the economic happenings at Dodgers'. I probably babbled for awhile, but he was SOOOOOO nice. We ended up having an actual conversation, and when my friends finally came up to me, he said, "Hi, I'm Michael"! I don't know exactly why, but this was so charming! He's so down to earth... He did however seem extremely sad about Bare. It was heartbreaking. In fact, he was sadly breaking off pieces of a large chocolate chip cookie. Awww!)
He is amaaaaazing and deserves so much success. He is truly a chillingly awesome performer.

i LOVE michael arden. His voice is amazing. Sadly, i never got to see him in bare...
and he must have been/will be an EXCELLENT pippin. SO wish I got to see it. I can just imagine how great Corner of the Sky woulda been...

omg this thread is amazing! and the timing is wonderful. this morning i got to see michael arden himself at a rehearsal for pippin. he and sam harris are sooo wonderfully fantastic and i cannot wait to see the show next week! glory and morning glow...wow. there was this high school group there watching and i got to listen to them answer questions and it was really awesome...michael is so adorable. i can hardly believe he's had no voice training at all. and his voice is like a gift from the angels. so effin phenomenal. okay, somebody stop me.

Can we just say how INCREDIBLE he was in the Pippin concert for World AIDS day!?

Morning Glow still gives me chills, probably most memorable musical-theater related moment of my life.

I first heard him through the BARE sampler...and let me just say I am SO upset that it's not opening anytime soon. I spoke to him after the Pippin concert, and its pretty much certain that he wont be going back even if it does open, which is unlikely. O well, I can always dream.

haha i went to michaelarden.com and that is so funny. definitely not our little hunk of hotness.

and to clear up the voice training thing...he went to julliard for acting, with no idea he had this kick-ass voice. to quote him, he said "i basically went to julliard to learn how to speak properly. and now that i know that, i can sing well too."
