Isn't Caren replacing Kendra Kassebaum as Mark's Mom at the end of the month? So she still may be with Brooklyn for another week or so. I don't blame her for leaving Brooklyn...not that I have seen the show yet so I'm not judging the material but it seems she'll be getting more stage time with Rent.

cvapb ..johny0828 and i saw bklyn together yesterday..if i remember right i saw her take a bow at curtain call when the vocalist did there bows and i know for a fact that she came out of the stage door
but i believe Amneris that she left

StraightToHeaven - Yeah, she's definitely replacing Kendra in a couple of weeks as Mark's Mom (ensemble). She should still be understudying Mimi and Maureen though. However, since Krystal Washington is leaving in January, I hope that Caren gets fulltime Mimi. It's a crime if she doesn't.

I wish that Caren had a chance to play Brooklyn before she left the show though (or whenever she leaves). That would've gotten me down there in a heartbeat. Oh well. Anyone know who's gonna be replacing her at Brooklyn?

Although I agree that Caren is a great Mimi, with the way things work at the Neder, I think her chances of taking over for Krystal are about as likely as her b/f's chances of getting the role of Roger again.

I saw Rent again this week. Drew Lachey was terrible beyond words. He even has a lisp. (Dethember 24ttth )
The rest of the cast was really strong especially the Roger Mimi and Angel :)

Just find it interesting that Brooklyn is already losing cast members...hmmm...has it been 2 weeks yet since they opened...seems like this a foreshadowing event to a bigger one...

Wow. Best of luck to her in whatever she does. I'd love to see her play Mimi; at the first (and only) performance of RENT that I've seen, she was really amazing and, as I think I've said before, probably the nicest person in the cast.

And ath for Drew Lachey and hith lithp... didn't Matt Caplan have a bit of a lisp, or was that just me hearing things?

Not that I'm in a hurry to go up and see Drew, but... H'whatever. xD

no offense dickon but,mainly when you post, the things you say are not needed. Learn your facts.. *A* castmember has left..mainly because she is backstage everynight. Eden has a great attendance record from WICKED - Denvers BKLYN run - Bway.. doubtful she will miss. If you had a chance to be on stage in front of the audience every night wouldn't you take it?
