i looooved Caren as Maureen this past Saturday. Her performance is FAR superior to Ava's and we finally have a Maureen that can sing the **** out of the role AND act! However, her "leap of faith" was pretty cringe worthy.

What happened to him? Looks like he went through drugs, booze and
Burger King at the same time! :S

If you enjoy Caren, get there this month. She's filling in for the month of March while Ava has further surgery and treatment. If you're really lucky, Caren will be out and Karen Olivo will be on instead.

Wait, what happened? Ava's ill, so they brought Caren and Karen back?

She's undergoing treatment for thyroid cancer.

I worked as an intern for Once Around the Sun and throughout the rehersal process, Caren was one of the closest people I knew from the cast. She's so nice, and is a great talent.

she did have a good voice when I heard her. I hope her voice isn't seriously shot now.

When I first saw her, she had sunglasses on and I thought she was Eden Espinosa (they do look somewhat alike, and I couldn't see her eyes). I'm glad I didn't say anything to her.

Hmm, unless her voice got shot in China... I last saw her in Oct. in OnCe Around the Sun and she was great.

When I won the lotto a few weeks ago I saw her.

She was good but (as others have said) her "leap of faith" was pretty cringe worthy.

I have no expertise in singing but, I venture to say that she could have cracked at any given point during that song.

I was white knuckled at some points just hoping for her!
