Posted: 3/7/06 at 11:02ami looooved Caren as Maureen this past Saturday. Her performance is FAR superior to Ava's and we finally have a Maureen that can sing the **** out of the role AND act! However, her "leap of faith" was pretty cringe worthy.

If you enjoy Caren, get there this month. She's filling in for the month of March while Ava has further surgery and treatment. If you're really lucky, Caren will be out and Karen Olivo will be on instead.

She's undergoing treatment for thyroid cancer.

You know it and you want it... you just can't believe you've got it.

she did have a good voice when I heard her. I hope her voice isn't seriously shot now.
When I first saw her, she had sunglasses on and I thought she was Eden Espinosa (they do look somewhat alike, and I couldn't see her eyes). I'm glad I didn't say anything to her.

When I won the lotto a few weeks ago I saw her.
She was good but (as others have said) her "leap of faith" was pretty cringe worthy.
I have no expertise in singing but, I venture to say that she could have cracked at any given point during that song.
I was white knuckled at some points just hoping for her!
