Carol Channing in bank robbery... oops

I was reading a celeb gossip site and it said Carol Channing (former Hello Dolly star) was at a bank on Friday when it was robbed. Apparently her famous diamond dress was ripped off from her and returned in September. Not the year for Carol I guess.

I saw the video clip and she kept digressing from the whole point of the story. she was like "Than I saw a man in the lobby who looked like Dean Martin, and so I went to say hi." haha than TMZ kept fast forwarding through her interview to get to the good part.

Sorry to hear this. If my Aunt Theresa and Grandmother were there, they would have made them wish they chose another Bank! Two tough old ladies!

Glad to hear she got her dress back. If it was us, we would have found it at the next Police Auction. I guess it helps to be famous.

Retro boy, she is probably losing her mind. I mean I have a neighbor who thinks he can still get a cup of coffee, and a newspaper and ride the trolley to battery park to the polo grounds all on a dime. She might be slightly out of touch with the times. haha
