I love Carrie but I was never able to figure out what the original logo was. The red is obviously blood but what is the rest?

It's her hair, part of her face, her eye and a tear drop. I always thought it was obvious.

I was referring to the 80s logo. I was always confused because Carrie was a Brunette and the red looked like blood no me. Maybe it is supposed to be Carrie drenched in blood crying.

The three red stripes are her puberty bush, the single parenthesis is her appendectomy scar (foreshadowing her mother stabbing her on the stairway to heaven), the open and close parentheses on their side are Carrie's lady business and the drop is her menstrual period blood. Very stylized, THE best logo of the '80s.
