With The Sound Of Music, she could knock out the first two and be on her way to that elite club of entertainers.

Really?!?! The woman has one of the 4. She's not even close!
Cyndi Lauper has 3 of 4 - give her a thread!
Robert Lopez has 3 of 4 and may get the 4th this year - give him a thread!
this thread is years away

You haven't even seen her act yet.
Maybe she can be like Steve Martin, pure EGO.
Or like Stephen Schwartz, just GO!!!

Well, Maria is a Tony-winning and Oscar-nominated role, so there is a chance she could be nominated for an Emmy if she does a good job.
Something tells me the Southern Swiss Miss will have to wait.
I mean, for God's sake, Marie Osmond played it once. It's not Medea.
If SOM transfers to a Broadway revival, she could get the Tony as well. Speaking of Bobby Lopez, I think he's a shoo-in for a win in the Best Original Song Oscar category. Oscar has always been good to animated Disney movies, and based on these Frozen reviews, it'll be no exception. Exciting!
Maybe her performance will be so magnificent that she will bring the world together and win the Peace Nobel. She will be a NEGOT.
Forget Medea, it's not even Madea
(see what I did there?)
She has a better chance of winning an EPCOT.

You just wait and see. Carrie will take the entertainment world by storm. She will win her EGOT all on one role.
She will pick up the Emmy and Grammy for The Sound of Music tv special.
Then the Weisslers will bring her to Broadway for a limited run where she will snatch the Tony from Idina, those women trying to croak their way through Carole King and Janis Joplin songs, and most importantly steal it right out from under whoever Woody finally decides is going to play Helen Sinclair.
Then in one of the most glorious entertainment suprises, Julie Andrews will announce that she is putting in some of her own money as part of the production team that will bring a remake of The Sound Of Music to the screen, with optional 3-D IMAX screenings in selected cities. Adam Guettel will announce that he has written a new song to replace the treacle "Something Good." And Carrie will sweep the Oscar voters off their feet singing the new song.

Alan Menken and Robert Lopez deserve theirs before Carrie.
