Going back to the concept album. In the case of Jekyl & Hyde while on the pre-Broadway tour I referred to the recording as the concept album not the cast recording. I consider the Broadway recording the Original Cast recording.
I also cringe when people refer to Original Cast Recordings as soundtracks.
