I wish I had a recording of the Grey Gardens songs that are in the Broadway production... I really like and miss "Goin' Places" and "Marry Well" and "The Girl Who Has Everything"...
Oh, I would have loved to see The Dancer's Life recorded. I also think it's a crime Threepenny Opera's last revival wasn't recorded. It's a new translation. Why not make a new recording to preserve it? However, I think that I'd much rather see more complete versions of cast albums. Follies' OBC comes to mind. So does Allegro, as slighly bland as the music can be at times.

There was one but they say it was bad and the songs have changed.
"I'm tellin' you, the only times I really feel the presence of God are when I'm having sex and during a great Broadway musical." - Nathan Lane - Jeffrey
I agree with InfiniteTheaterFrenzy about passing by the Broadhurst. aw well.
And I'm surprised SO many people want to see an In My Life recording, considering just a year ago today people were saying "THANK GOD THIS SHOW IS CLOSING IN A FEW DAYS." I had tickets for December 17th, 2005. How sad is that?

Threepenny Opera Revival Reefer Madness: the Movie Musical (I know it's a movie but there isn't an actual cast recording sold)
"For example, if I should paint my fingernails green -
and it just so happens I do paint them green. Well, if anyone should ask me why, I say: 'I think it's pretty!'"
I vote for In My Life, but I actually really enjoyed it. Yes, it was bad, but it was still an original show, which, in comparison to half of what's running, makes it worth a little.
Carrie springs to mind very quickly as well...Buckley and Hateley though, not Cook (Or as it should be termed "And Barbara Was Weak") I wouldn't have minded a La Cage recording IF Bryan Batt had been Albin instead of Beach.
