IN & OUT: Jesse Tyler Ferguson as Howard Kate Wetherhead as Emily Brian d'Arcy James as Peter Malloy Wesley Taylor as Cameron Drake Debbie Reynolds as Berneice Brackett (Reprise!) Rob Bartlett as Frank Zachary James as Walter
"Down with Love", a movie that a lot of critics say it should have been a musical. It would have been much more successful if it were. It just has all the elements that would go perfect as a musical stage production.
DOWN WITH LOVE
CAST: Becky Gulsvig ..... Barbara Novak Duncan James ..... Catcher Block Jenna Leigh Green ..... Vikki Hiller Christian Borle ..... Peter MacMannus
Matt Doyle as Jude Caisey Levy as Lucy Hunter Parrish as Max? Wallace Smith as Jo-jo Mary Birdsong as Sadie T.V Carpio as Prudence again Raúl Esparza as Mr. Kite Adam Dannheiser as Dr. Robert
Mark Rylance-Johnny Marin Mazzie-Lisa Benjamin Walker-Mark Andrew Keenan Bolger-Denny Michael Cerveris-Chris R Norbert Leo Butz-Mike Lea Michele-Michelle Roger Bart-Peter
some of those actors I think are too old to play the characters, particularly Marin Mazzie as Lisa, but overall I like it! I think a musical of the room would be hilarious.
SEX AND THE CITY: Carrie Bradshaw: Kerry Butler Miranda Hobbes: Jill Paice Charlotte York: Laura Benanti Samantha Jones: Sherie Rene Scott Mr. Big: J. Robert Spencer
I dunno if it would be the movie, or the TV show, or whatever, heck it probably wouldn't work either way, but just to see those girls together as those characters would be fiiiine!

"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."
Miranda: Christine Ebersole or Bernadette Peters Andy: Laura Osnes Emily: Laura Benanti Nigel: Michael Cerveris or Danny Burstein Nate: Adam Chanler-Berat
Whatever Happened to Baby Jane Jane: Bernadette Peters Blanche: Patti Lupone
The problem with that casting is that I would be spending the entire show concerned for the safety of Baby Jane. Even in a wheel chair, Patti would still be more intimidating.
Baby Jane needs something even campier than Peters and Lupone. Lupone as Jane and Glenn Close as Blanche would be more like it. "You mean all this time we could have been friends" would take on a whole new dimension.
Rachel Potter as Katniss Jeremy Jordan as Peeta Hayley Feinstein as Primrose Bernadette Peters/Kristin Chenoweth as Effie Jared Gertner (if he loses weight) as Haymitch
They all call me a troll. Ok, call me a troll. If I stand on my own, so be it.
Taboo123, Drop Dead Gorgeous would be great!!! That's a movie that would do well with an adaptation not like most of these crappy ones that have been happening or the ones that don't seem like they should ever become musicals.
JBroadway, I've been saying it should be adapted for the stage since the moment I saw it. I would revise your choices though
Jonathan Groff as Jude Caisey Levy as Lucy Aaron Tveit as Max? Wallace Smith as Jo-jo Lea Michelle as Sadie T.V Carpio as Prudence again No one (this should be cut) as Mr. Kite Ditto as Dr. Robert
