Gershwin and The Vivian Beaumont. Both are very comfortable.

Gershwin (Comfy and always has a great view), Nederlander (Comfy and Intimate), and Imperial (Seats are a little tight but the view is always good)

Whatever happened to class?

The Nederlander (gorgeous & artistic; I love the purple wall), The Imperial (like mentioned, a little tight, but still lovely) and... hmm those are the only ones that stand out to me..

-edit-
I am a complete idiot. The Shubert is great. It's tiny and I love the Alley...

No offense, but the question only makes sense in terms of the show being presented, and how the theater serves the show,

for small theater: booth --beautiful house. good leg room. restrooms on several floors ; mezzanine not too steep
large theater: st. james great big old fashioned house. such a theatrical feel without being too too fussy.
off b'way-mitzi newhouse --no bad seats in there. very intimate, flexible space.

Off-Bway - Dodger Stages is so intimate, and anywhere you sit you have an AMAZING view. When I saw Altar Boyz, Row D on the left was very much my friend.

Bway - The Nederlander is just so artistic and original.
The Imperial is also gorgeous. I also thought I had a great view from the mezzanine, wherever it was I sat escapes me, and my ticket isn't nearby.

So, that's my thoughts.

I thought the Minskoff was nice. When I saw DOTV from the nose bleed seats you can see everything. I don't know- I thought it had a new look to. Then again I've never been to the Minskoff before then.

I simply adore:
Richard Rodgers Theatre (even though half the time I call it the 46th Street Theatre still)
The Palace
The Shubert
