Bso only Broadway. There would be too many choices if we include Off Bway. Anyways, thanks for all the votes...the results were posted last night! Sweeney is the favorite, Mamma Mia the least favorite.

re: Cast Your Vote, Favorite Show and Least Favorite Show on Broadway right

Ok...i was one of the ones that said that Sweeney was my least favorite. I love Patti Lupone and i was somehow familiar with the subject of the show, and i was expecting a mindblowing experience. I have been wanting to see this show for a long time, and just the thought of seeing Patti Lupone on stage gave me chills. Then i saw this show with no change of sets(don't get me wrong, i loved Rent), no ensemble, no orchestra and 10 actors onstage. They killed one and then they starting to kill the rest of the cast and it was very predictible that everyone was going to die. I was expecting a masterpiece and the show didn't make me feel anything. It was disturbing and boring. I was trying to keep myself awake through the second act. The songs were good. But i am not familiar with the score, i just knew a couple of songs such as Joanna and i didn't like the way that actor sang it too much. And the British accent was not too believable to me. I was impressed with the actors playing instruments, but i also missed the orchestra and i think that when i pay Broadway show prices i deserve a full orchestra, plus those musicians need work!
And before i get hate mail, i am not saying the show is good or bad, just responding a question.

(Martha Graham from a letter to Agnes de Mille) "There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening That is translated through you into action, And because there is only one of you in all time, This expression is unique. If you block it, It will never exist through any other medium And be lost. The world will never have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is, Nor how valuable it is, Nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours, clearly and directly, To keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep open and aware Directly to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open. No artist is pleased. There is no satisfaction whatever at any time. There is only a queer, divine dissatisfaction, A blessed unrest that keeps us marching And makes us more alive than others."
