Last year Benedict Andrew directed a production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof starring Jack O'Connell and Sienna Miller. They were naked... a lot. That's about all the critics seem to agree on. Some saying it was powerful, others saying the leads were giving film performances that didn't carry on stage.
The National Theatre "Live" Broadcast is coming my way. As much as I'd love to look at Jack O'Connell naked I'm not sure I'm willing to sit through a 3 hour screening if the acting is weak. Has anyone here seen this? Thoughts?
I saw it last month, and I have to say while l didn’t expect much going into it, I was actually extremely impressed. I thought the cast was top notch and the minimalist staging very effective. Sienna Miller blew me away, I honestly didn’t think she had that type of a performance in her, and I left very happy I spent the afternoon seeing this.
This was discussed in the past. Thread also includes links to reviews:

Much obliged. The subject didn't come up in a search for the plays title. I'll read through the thread shortly.
