I’m curious what one would anticipate a star of Eugene Levy or Catherine O’Hara would take in for a month of theatre shows? 100k? 300k? More?
im always curious which what kind of weight a name can hold in terms of salary

As artists both would be invaluable to any production, but commercially problematic.
Hypothetically speaking, because each probably gets offered and turns down a play every single week ––
Off-Broadway or at a nonprofit they would probably make scale (which would mean they REALLY need to care about the show, and/or there would be a side agreement from a commercial producer making up the difference).
On Broadway, I'd say somewhere in the 50-75K per week range. Could be a lower amount + a percentage of the box office gross. And there'll be other perks too (car service to & from the show, a stylist for press appearances, a furnished apartment if they don't have a NYC residence, etc). Both would be a big draw post-Schitt's Creek. But these things are all subject to negotiation and there's no basement or ceiling to how much a star can get paid. The type of work is also a factor...O'Hara playing the lead in a revival of a Neil Simon comedy is different than her doing 1-2 scenes in a harrowing new play about marital abuse (for example).
There's also the matter of Most Favored Nations, meaning if there's another star in the show of similar stature (let's say Daniel Radcliffe), Catherine's agent will probably demand that she makes the same as Daniel.
